Hard to believe? almost as hard as believing in the Loch Ness monster?
Maybe, but its true (the marathons - not the monster)

Club Run on Wednesday 20th September

Our next Club Run (the first of the Autumn/Winter programme) will be on Wednesday 20th September. It will start at the West Wight Sports Centre.
We will head directly to the sea wall and might still catch a bit of the sunset. But do dig out the head torch (and check it still works) and the high viz clothing because you will be needing them before the end.  The route is almost all road-like surface so road shoes will be more suitable.

This is the 5 mile route
Sea wall from WW Sports Centre. Mapometer.com running route #4615770

and if that seems too much there is a 3 mile version
Sea Wall from WW Sports Centre (shortened). Mapometer.com running route #4615774

Meet in the foyer at 6:45 pm for a prompt 7 pm start.
Please come along and join us - All runners are welcome

Club Run Wednesday 13th September

This Wednesday's run, 13th September, starts from the Stag pub, Stag Lane (about 1.5 miles north of Newport) Grid Ref: 492918
The postcode is: PO30 5TW
Meet at 6:45 pm for a 7 pm start.
All runners are welcome. A note about the run from Paul:-
"Its about 5.2 miles. we can make it longer or shorter as required...
As I prefer road rather than trail, this is a pavement or path route."
meet at the Stag pub, Stag Lane, off the Newport to Cowes road...
there is plenty of parking
on Stag Lane."
Slight change to meeting place:The stag inn has a kitchen problem (no chef!!!) so they are not happy if we park in their car park...
A little further down the lane (approx. 100 yds.’) the yellow lines stop and we will meet there.
I suggest we go to the Bargeman’s after if fellow runners are up for it.

The route for the run: mapometer route
